Located in the heart of Northern Nicaragua, we offer personalized surf lessons and surf guiding led by born-and-raised local surfers who know these waves better than anyone. Whether you are a first-time beginner or an experienced surfer chasing better technique and better waves, our bilingual, ISA-trained coaches create fun, safe, and unforgettable surf experiences!

A little introduction to the faces behind Sunrise Surf 🌞🌊

We’re Chepo & Kate, the duo behind Sunrise Surf Nicaragua! 🇳🇮

Chepo was born and raised right here in Aserradores and has spent years surfing these waves. He knows the breaks like the back of his hand and brings the local knowledge, surf coaching, and plenty of excitement when the waves are firing! 🏄🏾‍♂️

Kate is originally from Canada but has called Nicaragua home for the past several years. She’s usually the one behind the scenes organizing, planning, and bringing all the Sunrise Surf ideas to life, while squeezing in a surf whenever she can too! 🏄🏻‍♀️

We started Sunrise Surf to create something that brings together everything we love about surfing and this little corner of Nicaragua. We wanted it to feel local and personal, a place where people can come to learn, improve their surfing, explore the beautiful waves, and feel at home while they’re here.

We’re really excited to share Sunrise Surf with you and to keep growing it alongside the local community that makes this place so special.
